Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our rituals, pandits, and purity standards.

Purity & Products

We believe that if an item isn't pure enough for you to consume, it isn't pure enough to offer to the Divine. We source strictly chemical-free Turmeric, Kumkum made from turmeric (not synthetic dyes), and pure Cow Ghee. Every item in our kit is curated with the same intention you would have if you hand-picked them yourself.
We offer flexible options. You can choose our "All-Inclusive" package, where the Pandit arrives with a complete, sealed Manah Pooja Kit containing everything needed. Alternatively, if you prefer to arrange your own materials, you can book the "Pandit Only" service, and we will send you a checklist of items to prepare.
Yes. For bookings that include perishables, we source fresh flowers, fruits, and betel leaves on the morning of your Pooja to ensure they are crisp, fresh, and worthy of offering.

Pandits & Services

We do not simply aggregate freelancers. Every Pandit on Manah Pooja undergoes a strict verification process. We assess their Vedic education (Pathashala background), experience, and most importantly, their Ucharana (pronunciation) and demeanor. We only onboard Pandits who view this as a service, not just a transaction.
Absolutely. We understand that a Pooja feels most connected when the Sankalpam and explanations are in your mother tongue. You can filter Pandits by language (Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, etc.) during the booking process.
We respect the auspicious time (Muhurtham). Our Pandits are instructed to arrive 15 minutes before the start time to set up the altar. In the rare event of a delay, our support team is available to assist immediately.

Booking & Logistics

We recommend booking at least 3 days in advance, especially for auspicious dates (like Ganesh Chaturthi or Varalakshmi Vratam) when demand is high. However, we do try to accommodate last-minute requests based on availability.
We understand that life is unpredictable. You can reschedule or cancel your booking for a full refund up to 24 hours before the scheduled time. Cancellations made within 24 hours may incur a small fee to compensate the Pandit for their blocked time.
No. The entire payment is handled securely through the App/Website to ensure transparency. You are welcome to give Dakshina (tip) purely out of your own will after the Pooja, but it is never mandatory or demanded.
